Bonjour/Welcome- I will do my best to have the site updated weekly. Any assignments that do not appear- the students will have been notified and given ample notice for due dates.
Course outlines have been sent home for period one - PIF 9, period three-FILA 10, period four- FILA 10 and period five- FILA 10.
There is an exemtion available in this course.(See LHHS school policy for attendance and academics and teacher discretion).
My homeroom is 9S.
Student fees are $40.00 per child or $65.00 per family. cheques may be made payable to LHHS. I will give a receipt to your child that you may use for income tax purposes.

PIF 9- period 1-
warm up-questions in French about the weekend activities
We shared our written paragraphs from Friday. Students are to go over the edits I made with each of them and rewrite the paragraph. They will submit both relating to music.


FILA 10 early- periods 3, 4 and 5- Students were asked to finish up all formative work from last week for tomorrow; descriptions of images, cartoon questions, adjectives, nouns and adverbs sheets.
We started the film Treize a la douzaine - students will choose one character from the movie and describe them in a minimum of ten sentences physically and psychologically. This is formative in preparation for the upcoming summative assignment "portrait d'un camarade".

warm up, present yesterday's sentence strips, go over projects, write small group paragraphs using sentences relating to music (genre, message, chanteur, chanteuse, artiste, paroles, ...)

FILA 10 early- periods 3, 4 and 5-
movie -Treize a la douzaine to finish
write up a minimum of ten sentences (5 about the physical characteristics and 5 about the psychological characteristics of one character in the film - this is a formative evaluation
If done work on Reading Comprehension "Debris du Tsunami" and questions........

With the teacher, write a paragraph on music together using vocabulary learned in the unit to date. Read the paragraph as a class, individually, etc.
